Norwich Makers Market

After the disappointing time I had at the craft fair earlier in the week, I was a little apprehensive about this one. It was the first one that had been held and it was somewhere I had never heard of (although, it turned out, I had looked at a house around the corner, a few years ago!) so I wasn’t too confident. But, shame on me for my negativity, as it was great!

The ladies who organised it, Rosie and Dulcie, had done an absolutely great job of organising the hall and the collection of stalls was superb! It was definitely my kind of craft fair as there was loads of lovely people selling lots of cute and quirky things! (Check out my Facebook page for pictures of some of the treasures I found!) I should have brought more cake as I had sold out before the end - but it just gave me the chance to have a look around and spend some of my well-earned cash. hehe.

Some of the lovely crafty people I met were:

Wretham Easter Craft Fair

Now, I must admit, this was quite a disappointing fair. :(

It had been on for a day previously and I had a stall on the Easter Monday. The weather was horrible so no one really ventured out of their houses.

Oh well, at least I got to showcase my Easter cupcakes. :)

Victorian Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for the Victorian Night’s Lanch Party. Victorian Night’s is this amazing sounding festival on the North Norfolk Coast which will be showcasing some of North Norfolk’s Victorian Heritage.

Here’s some information from their website:

Victorian Nights offers a dazzling selection of free events for families, the local community and visitors.  Join us for daring entertainment in the form of fire eaters and escapologists, the chance to dress up and have your photo taken at an fashioned photo parlour, a pipe organ, circus acts, a traditional steam train ride, arts and craft workshops, film, guided walks and the chance to meet lots of costumed characters.  You are very welcome to come in costume if you wish.

The adventure begins in Sheringham on Friday 18 May, and continues in Cromer, Sheringham and Wells on Saturday 19 May, then finishing in Sheringham on Sunday 20 May, with twelve events to keep you entertained throughout the weekend.  Attend at least eight of the events and you will be in with the chance of winning a giant goody bag, packed full of exciting prizes.
